Getting Started with Network Searcher

To start Network Searcher:

  • Click Windows' Start button, then point at Programs, select Network Searcher, and then click Network Searcher.

When Network Searcher is not yet registered, every time the program starts it displays the restrictions notification window. Use that window to purchase the license key or register the program with the key. For details on registering the program, please see the section Registering Network Searcher. To continue with the trial version, click the button Continue.

Every time Network Searcher starts, it displays the Tip of the Day window with tips on using the program. To see more tips, click on the Next tip button. To continue using the program, click on the OK button. To disable tips at the program's start-up, deselect the option Show tips on startup in the Tip of the Day dialog window.

Network Searcher's main window is split into three frames. The upper left frame displays available network groups and shares. The lower left frame provides tools for forming search queries. The right frame displays search results.
