Saving and restoring search parameters

You can save search parameters (options, haves selection, file or folder masks, etc. - all that you see on your screen) and restore them later for performing more searches with the same settings.

Saving search parameters

To save current search parameters:
  1. On the File menu, select Save search parameters.
  2. In the Save as: window that appears:
    1. Browse to the folder the settings are be saved in.
    2. Type or select from the drop-down menu file name to save session as.
    3. From the drop-down menu, select file type to save session as.
    4. Click Save to complete or Cancel to abort the operation.

Restoring search parameters

If you saved Network Searcher search parameters to disk earlier, you can restore them and perform more searches with the same settings. To restore previously saved search parameters:
  1. On the File menu, select Load search parameters.
  2. In the Open dialog window that appears, select the file of your previously stored search parameters, and then click Open.

This will restore your previously saved search settings, so you can perform more searches with them.
