Saving and restoring search results
Saving search results allows restoring them later for further processing.
To save current search result list:
- On the File menu, select Save results or click on the Save button on the toolbar or - press the Ctrl-S combination on the keyboard.
- In the Save as: window that appears:
- Browse to the folder the session to be saved in.
- Type or select from the drop-down menu file name to save session as.
- From the drop-down menu, select file type to save session as.
- Click Save to complete or Cancel to abort the operation.
Network Searcher allows exporting search results to the following file formats:
MP3 list (*.m3u)
Web page (*.htm, *.html)
XML file (*.xml)
Text file (*.txt)
If you files and folders using Network Searcher earlier and saved the results to disk, you can restore those results and continue working with them. To restore a previously saved result list:
Click on the Open saved results button on the program's toolbar or select the Open results item on the File menu or - press the Ctrl-O combination on the keyboard.
In the Open dialog window that appears, select the file of your previously stored result list, and then click Open.
This will open your previously saved search results where you can manage them and otherwise operate the program.
